Welcome to The Pulse! It’s fantastic to have you here.

At MYOB we have a long history of striving to ‘make business life easier’. In fact, we believe in it so passionately, it’s our vision, it’s why we exist. We believe that we should provide solutions to make the admin and IT side of business as easy as possible, so that you can get back to what you do best; trusting us to do what we do best.

And that’s the purpose of The Pulse. It’s the MYOB news and social media hub; that will be complete one-stop-shop for business owners. With news, views and opinions, it’s the perfect way to keep up to date with the latest industry knowledge and pick up some tips from some of the many thought and industry leaders we’ve got on board. It will also be your first look at the exciting new ventures and products as they pop up on the MYOB horizon.

But it’s not just for business owners. We’ve included a dedicated section for accountants, drawing on our wealth of experience and partner connections.

We’re really proud of the team here at MYOB, and that’s why we’ll also be opening up the office doors and sharing advice and knowledge from our management team. They’re good at what they do because they’re passionate about what they do, and we’re excited to have the opportunity pass on tidbits of their professional experience.

So grab a coffee, have a look around and don’t forget to let us know what you think. We’ve included a comments section at the end of every post to get the conversation going. We’d love to hear your experiences, thoughts and feedback.

We’re always looking for ways to improve at MYOB, and the same goes for The Pulse. If you have any feedback or thoughts about things you’ve seen, or ideas for content you’d like to read, make sure to let us know. You can grab The Pulse team via email at thepulse@myob.com.

Welcome once again, and as always #loveyourwork.

Good show, Tim! And hearty congrats to you and your team. I’ve gained a sense of how hard you guys have been working on this online caper. As many firms flounder in the social media space, MYOB seems to be making a real fist of it. I’ve been impressed by your focus on readers and your resistance to the temptation to ram products down people’s throats. I’m no expert, but my heart tells me you’re on the right tram. So good luck with this initiative and all power to your crew. Best regards, P. :)

It’s great that MYOB is embracing social media, I look forward to seeing the posts – as a business owner and MYOB user, the news, views, opinions and tips should be great. Cheers, James.

Paul & James: thanks for the words of encouragement. We’re pretty excited about the Pulse and what it could mean to business owners. And yes – we’re committed to making it more about businesses and business issues and less about us and our products – although time to time we’ll certainly use it to let you know what we’re up to. Cheers, Tim
