Our annual Partner Connection conference isn’t just all about MYOB.  It’s an opportunity to recognise those partners, consultants, accountants and bookkeepers that are doing a sensational job, and say thanks for their incredible work as MYOB brand advocates.

This year, along with service and achievement milestone awards, we were proud to recognise two exceptional partners as a ‘Partner of the Year’.

Narrowing down the field to just one Australian winner and one New Zealand winner was no easy feat.  Our Partner Team and key business leaders looked at a number of factors, including:

  • Innovation – they need to be constantly looking for new ways to run their business
  • Client Feedback
  • Peer Recommendation
  • Promotion – both of the MYOB brand and their own business.
  • Sales Results

After much deliberation the winners were crowned, and at the Thursday night gala dinner, MYOB CEO Tim Reed proudly presented the 2011 Partner of the Year awards to Helen Webley (New Zealand) and Rob Marshall (Australia).

NEW ZEALAND PARTNER OF THE YEAR

HELEN WEBLEY

Helen Webley is the Director of Tauranga based Bay Business Support, and has been a Certified Consultant with MYOB since 2002.

She’s arguably one of our best known consultants both internally and externally, thanks to her seemingly boundless enthusiasm for promoting her business, and MYOB.

Helen is incredibly passionate, and with almost 20 years of experience, there is not much she doesn’t understand about the challenges her clients face. This is evident from the fantastic feedback we receive directly from them about her professionalism and guidance.

Helen is also well respected by her peers in the MYOB Partner Community, and we continue to receive regular feedback from them about her willingness to provide them with support, insight and assistance.

Despite having a personally challenging year, Helen has set the bar in terms of her sales results, and just as importantly, has also done so in regard to effectively serving a very large, varied client base.

We’re thrilled to be able to support Helen as the MYOB Partner of the Year for NZ.

AUSTRALIAN PARTNER OF THE YEAR

ROB MARSHALL

Rob Marshall established his company, Ebiz Solutions in 1996, in conjunction with his brother, Don.

Officially an MYOB Consultant since the late 90’s, Rob’s history as a retailer and small business owner provide him with a unique insight into the demands faced by his clients, and we receive regular feedback about his ability to empower his clients through sharing his own experiences.

Rob’s commitment to excellence has seen him play a key role in establishing innovative products in the market, including a strong commitment to MYOB RetailManager & M-Powered Services, and has also seen him contribute strongly to the ongoing growth and development of MYOB’s core AccountRight suite.  We’ve also had the privilege of working with him to deliver training to over 1000 MYOB clients in WA!

Well known in his local community, and a well deserving recipient of the Telstra Micro Business of the Year for 2007, Rob is also a highly respected member of the MYOB Partner Community, as evidenced by the overwhelming support shown to him during the awards ceremony.

We’re sure that Rob will continue to be an exceptional ambassador for MYOB – Love Your Work!
