    Dealing with difficult people

    People you deal with don’t always operate in the same way you do – what happens when you deal with aggressive, passive aggressive or just downright difficult people? I’ve just come off the back of running my month long Grateful in April campaign where the focus was on what is good in people’s lives. It’s been uplifting and my dealings have been incredibly pleasurable. Imagine my horror when I found myself in a couple of recent situations – one dealing with a person who was being incredibly difficult and another where someone was behaving in a passive aggressive manner.

    Are you too busy to eat lunch? Or maybe you’re the kind of person that likes to scroll through e-mails on your smart phone with some kind of snack in the other hand? The era of the long lunch could well be over as people now cram as much as possible into their day – but this might not be entirely healthy. Lunch is a great way to refuel, take a breath and recharge for the afternoon stretch, and by not allowing your mind to recover from the flurry of morning busyness you’ve just encountered, you could be making yourself less effective for the afternoon.
