Getting the compliance update

How to install and configure your software for the EOFY.

The 2013 compliance update is due for release in the
last week of June 2013.

Date to be confirmed

This release will include all the ATO changes required for making your software compliant for the 2014 payroll year. The 2013 compliance update will be available for download soon, and this page will be updated with instructions on how to get it.

In the meantime, there are some things you can do to prepare.

1. Enter all your transactions

Make sure you enter all your transactions for the 2012-13 financial year – this includes money going out, coming in, or moving between the accounts in your software.

2. Back up your company files

To keep your data safe, we recommend you back up your company files before rolling over to the new year. See your software help for more information.

3. Make sure you're on the latest software version

It’s important that you're always operating on the latest version of MYOB software and we recommend that you check this before the compliance update is made available.

If you're using AccountRight, make sure you've registered for updates in your software and checked for updates using your software manager. To find out how to do this, see our step by step instructions.

If you're using AccountEdge (Mac), please log in to your my.MYOB account and check for product updates.

Once the compliance release is made available you'll be notified via your e-mailthis webpage and through our monthly newsletter in June.

Please note the 2013 compliance update will only be available for subscribers to MYOB Cover or AccountRight Live. To find out if you have an active support subscription, or to purchase one now visit our Updates and Upgrades section.
