  If you’re ready to start working with your company file, then the first step is to upload it to the cloud. To do this, you need to have company file administrator access, as well as administrator privileges for the AccountRight Live subscription.

  The real benefits of working online come with the ability to have multiple users accessing your company file anywhere, anytime.

  The invitations process is a way to set up access for other people to work on your online company file. You should also learn how to use your company file both online and offline – so you can keep working wherever you are, even without the internet.

• Getting Started with Bank Feeds

  
  Bank feeds makes it easy for you to record and reconcile transactions in AccountRight, by bringing your bank and credit card transaction information directly into your software. This information can then be used to help you quickly match and enter transactions for later reconciliation.

  To apply for a bank feed, you need to specify your account details (exactly as they appear on your statement), and then authorise BankLink to set up a connection to your bank. You can apply for as many feeds as you like. To check if your account can be set up as a feed, see this list of eligible banks.

• Working with Bank Feeds

  
  When you update a bank feed, AccountRight automatically checks for and matches transactions that correlate with bank feed information, or with rules you have set up. But if a match is not found, you can easily enter the transaction in AccountRight. And a lot of the data entry is done for you, using the bank feed information.

  All the transactions that you match and approve are also marked for reconciliation in the Reconcile Accounts window. So when you go to reconcile the account, most of the work is done for you.
