AccountRight 2013 is for current MYOB AccountRight users who want to take advantage of the benefits of Live Services.
That is – flexibility to work in the cloud, anywhere access, multiple users, automatic bank feeds and more.
Upgrading to the online-enabled version of AccountRight is different from the upgrades MYOB has provided you before.
AccountRight has been completely rebuilt from the ground up to make it work online with AccountRight Live. This means that although the software looks similar to what you’re currently using, it does represent a significant change to your user experience and the upgrade process.
NOTE:If you use M-Powered services, Retail Manager, or other third party add-ons, we recommend waiting until we’ve finished developing these features before upgrading as they are not currently supported in AccountRight 2013.
If you decide upgrading to 2013 to use Live Services is not for you right now, you can keep using your current software, and MYOB will continue to support you and provide updates for your software.
Upgrading is a three-part process: Preparing, Installing & Upgrading.
This upgrade involves more steps than before because of the major technology change that AccountRight 2013 represents.
The records and transactions within your file need to be copied to a format that will work with the online-enabled version of AccountRight, and this means you need to prepare your company file first, as well as do some post-installation tasks you wouldn’t usually do.
