EXO Finance - Core Module
At the core of the EXO Business system, MYOB EXO Finance provides a complete and rich set of accounting, stock control, sales, purchasing management and reporting functionality including management dashboards that provide real time views of your entire operation.
You can even connect and access EXO Finance remotely, making it ideal for branch management, mobile sales, working with an external accountant or managing your business from home or while travelling.
EXO Finance has a number of features and functions that support the following key areas of business:
Accounting and Finance:
- Automated bank reconciliation (via downloaded internet bank statements), an integrated cashbook and a powerful set of cash management tools, all contribute to keeping you fully informed of your current position.
- Budgeting is easy, with the flexibility to create multiple budgets and multiple reporting periods for each ledger code. You can work on your budgets in EXO Finance or Microsoft® Excel® if you choose
- If your business is importing or exporting, you can track your foreign currency transactions in dedicated sub-ledgers in your currency of choice, as well as manage foreign currency bank accounts.
Stock control:
- EXO Finance’s powerful stock control and distribution features provide full visibility and management of each and every stock movement, from customer order and stock purchase right through to delivery – transforming your logistics area into a source of customer service excellence.
- EXO Finance’s bill of materials (BOM) codes can be used to build product sets (or kits) and manage the manufacturing process.
EXO Business Analytics:
EXO Finance includes the EXO Business Analytics module which provides you with a wide range dashboards, charts and reports to gain deep visibility into your business’ performance. The out-of-the-box dashboard components can be modified as well as supplemented with user-definable components to create a dashboard that is fully customised to meet each customer’s specific reporting needs.
Dashboards can work off either snapshotted or live data and include the ability for end users to slice and dice data to facilitate further analysis of your business performance data. For those who need more complex data analysis, you have the ability to export data to other tools such as Microsoft Excel ® all in a few keystrokes.

Customer Management:
EXO Finance gives you access to all the supplier and customer contact details you need to manage your orders, invoices, statements and more, along with your supplier relationships and marketing and sales activities.
And by integrating with the EXO CRM module you can comprehensively understand your customers. MYOB EXO CRM is a fully customisable module that allows you to manage your companies and contracts, track activities, sales opportunities and budgets as well as produce an extensive range of reports. And, sales staff will love the real-time stock information as it will enable efficient, accurate servicing of their customers.

MYOB EXO Business now has the capability to integrate with key social media applications to enable users to engage with prospects and customers in a collaborative manner in order to generate leads, foster loyalty, build customer retention and increase revenue.
- Integration with LinkedIn enables users to tap into the endless possibilities of social networking for instant knowledge about customers and prospects. Generate leads and open up new channel for prospecting potential clients
- Marketing teams have the ability to extend and link marketing campaigns to social media channels via the Campaign Management functionality in EXO CRM
- Through new My Company Social Media Profile widgets on the management dashboard, users can browse social media sites from within EXO Business dashboards. This will allow organisations to monitor what is being said about them by customers and prospects to the wider community via social media.
