Windows 7 Compatibility
If you have upgraded to the Windows 7 operating system, you may also need to install an update for your MYOB software. Check your MYOB software version below to find out if you need to install an update
Current software versions
- BusinessBasics v1.1
No update is required
- JustInvoices
If you are a user of JustInvoices you need to install an update to ensure compatibility with Windows 7. - Accounting v18, Accounting Plus v18.5, Premier v12.5 and
Premier Enterprise v6.5
You need to update your MYOB software if you:- Synchronise MYOB cards with MYOB Outlook contacts
- Use MYOB M-Powered Invoices Import Assist
- Use a third-party add-on solution in conjunction with your MYOB software
- MYOB RetailManager v11
You need to update your MYOB software if you:
- Are using RetailManager v11 Release number 11.0.690. (You can check the release number in RetailManager by going to Help > About MYOB RetailManager).
- Email transactions to clients
- Email communications to clients using the Customer Groups functionality
- Are using RetailManager v11.1 Release number 11.1.690. (You can check the release number in RetailManager by going to Help > About MYOB RetailManager).
- The ability to print barcodes on Officeworks and Austab labels
- Other general improvements to the Custom Barcodes area
- Resolved the issue where options & settings may be reset after upgrading from earlier versions
- Resolved the issue where extended descriptions of stock items appear on Purchase Orders and Goods Received

Earlier software versions
Earlier versions of MYOB business management software have not been tested for Windows 7 compatibility. MYOB can only certify the current versions of the software will work with Windows 7.
If you have upgraded to Windows 7, or intend to upgrade to Windows 7, we recommend that you also upgrade to the current version of your MYOB software.
